I was reflecting on the implications of Google being sued for the invasion of Max Mosley's privacy just because its search results linked to pages on the web that Mosley believed were intrusive. While Mosley might consider publishing images of him at his leisure to be intrusive, I don't believe they are in themselves defamatory. » read all and comment

Google's latest announcements about personalised search and its new privacy regime (there won't be any) are all about squeezing the max out of advertising.

FT Buys Developer of its App

The FT, whose iPad and Android app is one of the undoubted stars of the tablet universe, likes the product so much, it's bought the developers, Assanka.
